We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Stop HK Police sexually assaulting protestors. Please pass the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act.

Created on August 29, 2019

In the past 80 days, HK Police keep manhandling and sexually harassing protestors. It was reported by social caring group with questionnaires that female detainees claim that they were fed with unknown drugs and policemen rub their clitoris with hard rods. They were denied to toilets afterwards and forced to pee with their pants on. Protestors’ clothes and underwear were forced to take off and their legs were forced to spread open while being strip-searched by officers with no gloves on. These cases are just tip of the iceberg and we believe the situation is getting worse.

Please pass the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act in order to ensure that all residents of Hong Kong are afforded freedom from arbitrary or unlawful arrest, detention, torture, or imprisonment.
